3329 Pump Road, Henrico, VA 23233
- Installed June 2017 by Henrico County Master Gardeners and Henrico County Recreation & Parks.
- Master Gardener volunteers do all the upkeep and maintenance.
- Every plant in the garden serves as a host plant, nectar plant or both to our native pollinators.
- 32 Native Plant species. See plant list HERE
- The garden is designated as a Monarch Waystation – it provides the host plants (milkweed), nectar plants, and shelter for Monarchs through their cycle of reproduction and migration.
- Bluebird House, donated by Wild Birds Unlimited, has hosted several bluebird families.
- Native Bee House has hosted both mason bees and leafcutter bees – efficient native bee pollinators!
- Outreach and Education Events with Master Gardeners are held throughout the year, including “Sundays in the Garden,” “Saturday in the Garden“ and “Weekend on Wednesday” (W.O.W.) (sponsored by Henrico County Recreation & Parks).
