Demonstration Gardens

Henrico Master Gardeners have designed, installed and maintain two gardens located at Henrico County Recreation & Parks facilities. Their purpose is to teach about pollinators and the plants that support them in our area.

The Garden Plants:

Butterflies and moths require specific plants to lay their eggs – these are called Host Plants.

Nectar Plants provide food for many different pollinators, including bees, butterflies, moths and birds. Our Demonstration Gardens provide BOTH of these plants to our native pollinators.
